Kilburn Infant & Nursery School comprises of 3 separate buildings, including a Nursery building (the original Victorian school), a Reception Unit, and a Key Stage One block. We are fortunate that each area has it's own outdoor play area, and within the grounds is a joint playing field.
In the Early Years we pride ourselves in providing a stimulating and exciting environment both inside and outside for all our children to become engaged and to develop their independent learning skills.
In the Early Years at Kilburn Infant and Nursery School our children are happy and positive. They are excited and motivated to learn through rich and challenging learning experiences: opportunities to explore and take risks, and first-hand experiences. Our ambitions for all our children are high and we recognise that children have different starting points to their learning. We plan according to children's stage of development so all can thrive and develop. We aim for children to be well-rounded individuals who are independent, resilient, and confident in themselves and with others.
Our Ofsted Report, April 2017 - 'The learning environment is rich, colourful and stimulating, both indoors and outdoors. Children sustain focus and concentration in their learning because they enjoy and are confident in their play'
