Early Help Offer

If you think a child may be at risk of harm, please contact CALL DERBYSHIRE on 01629 533190.

What is Early Help?

Early help means providing support to our children and families at Kilburn Infant and Nursery School as soon as a new challenge emerges.

We understand just how complicated family life can sometimes be and from time to time, there may be situations where you need some extra help and support.

We have an 'Open Door' policy across school, and can often meet parents without an appointment, especially at the beginning or end of the school day. If things are not right at home, please come and talk to us. We can help in many ways.

Pastoral - to support children to improve their social, emotional, and behavioural skills.

Parental - to support challenging behaviour of children at home

Attendance - to support parents and carers for children's full attendance and punctuality

Other Agencies - we can link with outside help to work together and share ideas and expertise, including counselling, substance misuse, health, domestic violence, & behaviour support.
