Autumn 2

Our ILP this half term  is called 'Towers, Turrets and Tunnels'. We will be learning all about castles, famous bridges and tunnels and amazing structures from all around the world. If you can help in any way with this project, please let us know. This could include sending in photographs or information about places you may have visited or coming in to talk to the children about any exciting bridges, tunnels or structures that you have visited. Thank you for your support and we hope that the children enjoy this project as much as the last one.

Our new Imaginative Learning Project is called Bounce. Today we visited Chucklebutties soft play centre in Belper for our memorable experience. We had a great time exploring how to travel over, under and through the equipment with our friends. We also had a disco with bubbles and pretend snow. We were all really well behaved and very polite to the staff and the other children there. Class 3's Art Exhibition

A BIG thank you to everyone who visited Class 3's Art Exhibition today. The children have worked really hard to produce the work that was displayed and they were very excited to share it with you all! I hope you enjoyed coming into the classroom and sharing the work with your child. Class 3's Art Exhibition

Next week we will be moving on to the 'Innovate' part of our ILP. This will involve the children working together to create an art exhibition for parents/carers to come and view. The art exhibition will be open for viewing on Monday 7th December from 2.20pm until home time. The children will show you around the exhibition and will discuss the work that has been produced. They will be making tickets for you and these will be coming home early next week.

I hope you can come and share some of the wonderful art work that has been produced, even if it is only for ten minutes before you collect your child from school. Thank you for your support from Mrs Swinfield and Class Three x smiley

Book week at Kilburn Infant and Nursery School

This week we have been celebrating book week. We have enjoyed listening to stories by lots of visitors and we have asked them some super questions. We all enjoyed book swap day and Mrs Boyd has taught some of us how to use our new library!! Photos to follow! smiley
